The collaboration between Nintendo and Illumination released the initial complete preview for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie midweek. It was showcased in a dedicated Nintendo presentation that centered on the upcoming animated film.
Following up on the 2023 blockbuster The Super Mario Bros. Movie, this fresh entry will propel Mario to the outer limits of the galaxy. In his journey, he meets a different royal figure and a challenging new adversary in Bowser Jr., the offspring of the Koopa King.
A Space-Faring Quest Based on Classic Games
Similar to the Wii console classics that serve as its inspiration, Mario will venture away from the well-known surroundings of the Mushroom Kingdom to explore outer space. During his grand adventure, he will encounter once more some familiar faces, for instance the Luma, a fan favorite from the first movie.
Yet it looks like Mario and his brother Luigi will battle a different foe in the form of Bowser's furious offspring, who seemingly commands metallic abilities.
