Aircraft Spirals Wildly into Palm Fronds at Well-Known Southern California Beach
An aircraft soaring near a crowded southern California shoreline unexpectedly commenced twirling wildly, eventually dropping height and crashing into a row of palm fronds as onlookers looked on.
Footage uploaded on the internet show the chopper starting to spin over Huntington Beach then falling near the edge of the shore, where it gets stuck between palm trees and a steps close to the coastal road.
Rescue Operation Details
Local firefighters stated five persons were taken to hospital including two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” after the accident on Saturday.
Three people on the pavement were harmed. Specifics on their condition were still under review.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.
